On the subject of sustainable ventures and crowdfunding.
Back at the school desk π π±
Over the past few weeks, we have been invited to give a series of guest lectures at the University of Mannheim on the topic of sustainable ventures and crowdfunding in the @MAFINEX represented.
The focus of our presentations was on linking social and sustainable added value with economic interests. As a sustainable startup, the fusion of profitability and sustainability should of course already be inherently anchored in the business model. Nevertheless, we at bhyo firmly believe that benefits can only be realized in the long term if social added value is also created in the projects. For us, in addition to integrating local politics into our regional concept, this also means actively involving citizens, building local structures and creating local jobs.

Over the past two weeks, it has been both inspiring and encouraging for us to see that so many students in both the Bachelor's and Master's programs are interested in Sustainable Entrepreneurship and are actively choosing courses like this one. In the future, motivated and innovative students will be essential to bring the necessary fresh wind into the economy, research and politics and thus create the step towards a clean future.
We would therefore like to express our special thanks once again to those involved who, on the one hand, gave us the opportunity to present our vision and, on the other, actively tried to get young students interested in the topic. Thank you Erika, Robert & Dr. Ahrens!
We hope to be able to welcome some creative and ambitious students directly to bhyo in the future. We regularly post vacancies for people at different stages of their career on our application portal.
