BHYO GmbH develops and operates an innovative pilot plant for thermochemical conversion processes. In order to build up internal expertise in the areas of EI&C, automation and functional safety, we are looking for a dedicated reinforcement who will actively work on the pilot plant, further developments and scaling.
As a member of our engineering team, you will play a central role in the design of innovative biomass gasification plants. Your expertise will drive conceptual engineering work on customer projects and utilize our patented bhyo hydrogen technology to solve green energy challenges. In this role, you will combine a high level of responsibility with the freedom to creatively solve problems, making a direct contribution to the development of sustainable energy solutions.

Your tasks.
- Creation of circuit diagrams, functional descriptions, test documents and final documentation.
- Development of structural plans and EI&C basic planning for pilot plant & modules.
- Creation of safety-related documentation (SIL, IEC, ATEX).
- Programming and integration of Siemens PLC (S7, TIA Portal) & WinCC.
- Implementation of cascade controls and OPC connection & database integration.
- Specification and selection of field devices, motors, power distribution and heaters.
- Hardware planning and e-construction (EPLAN / WSCAD).
- Support during assembly, installation and commissioning (loop checks, tests, FAT/SAT).
- Monitoring & QA of external service providers incl. document review.
- Support for campaigns, analytics setups and test drives.

- Completed studies in electrical engineering, automation technology or technician training in the field of EI&C.
- Experience in process automation and EI&C planning.
- Very good knowledge of Siemens TIA Portal / WinCC.
- Understanding of safety-relevant standards: SIL, IEC, ATEX.
- Ability to work in a team, structured way of working, documentation security.
- Good knowledge of German, English an advantage.
- Independent, structured and goal-oriented way of working
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to participate in test runs on site (up to 4 weeks)
- Mobility in the Rhine-Neckar region is absolutely essential
