We are a green energy startup specializing in the production of organic hydrogen. Our patented process encompasses various resource and energy streams, creating an efficient recycling of waste materials and a sustainable energy supply. Through our holistic and decentralized energy concept, bhyo helps communities to build autonomous structures and regional networks and can make a significant contribution to nature and climate protection.
The founding team consists of 4 partners who together have over 80 years of industry experience in the management sector of leading global industrial service providers. Last year, financing and subsidies were secured for the next development steps, including the construction of a pilot plant on a commercial scale.
Your tasks.
- Scale-up engineering of the test plant, basic engineering pilot plant
- Design and dimensioning of various process components
- Plant planning of process engineering & equipment, mechanical engineering, piping technology as well as initiation of inquiries, selection and procurement of corresponding components: Solids handling (feed & discharge), reactors (fluidized bed), gas scrubbing and gas treatment systems (synthesis gas to hydrogen) as well as supply and auxiliary systems.
- Documentation in accordance with the bhyo quality management system
- Innovation and identification of opportunities for the further development of bhyo hybrid technology
- Participation in R&D test runs and support for other bhyo departments
your knowledge.
- Relevant education, e.g. B.S. / M.S. in process engineering / mechanical engineering
- Experience in engineering in general (concept, basic, detail)
- Knowledge in the areas of gases and solids and their processing
- Knowledge in the field of high-temperature materials and reactors
- Experience in the field of renewable energies and biomass
- Use of appropriate planning and design tools
- Independent, structured and goal-oriented way of working
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in German and English
- Willingness to participate in test runs on site (up to 4 weeks)
- Mobility in the Rhine-Neckar region is absolutely essential
