We are a green energy startup specializing in the production of organic hydrogen. Our patented process encompasses various resource and energy streams, creating an efficient recycling of waste materials and a sustainable energy supply. Through our holistic and decentralized energy concept, bhyo helps communities to build autonomous structures and regional networks and can make a significant contribution to nature and climate protection.
The founding team consists of 4 partners who together have over 80 years of industry experience in the management sector of leading global industrial service providers. Last year, financing and subsidies were secured for the next development steps, including the construction of a pilot plant on a commercial scale.
As a member of our team, you will play a central role in managing the funding acquired in coordination with the system and technology developments.
The aim is to secure funding and accelerate implementation.
With your expertise, you will start to build strategic partnerships, maintain and promote cooperation with relevant stakeholders. In this role, you will ensure that all funding applications are submitted on time and that the application documents are of a high quality (evaluation by funding bodies). Your reporting system reflects timely reporting on funding, applications and projects. In this role, you will make a direct contribution to the financing and development of sustainable energy solutions.

Your tasks.
- Identification, research, analysis & application for suitable funding programs (EU, federal, state).
- Strategic application and coordination.
- Follow-up of submitted applications, communication with funding bodies.
- Development of a long-term promotion strategy.
- Coordination of ongoing projects and reporting.
- Preparation of reports, interim statements and where-used lists.
- Alignment/coordination of grant milestones with project plans.
- Establishing & maintaining cooperation with target stakeholders, e.g. ministries & funding bodies, municipalities and partners.
- Development and maintenance of the internal database on funding opportunities and deadlines.
- Identification and evaluation of external funding consultants with selection and subsequent management.

- Completed university degree, e.g. in economics, administrative sciences, political science, project management, innovation management, or comparable
- At least 10 years of professional experience in funding management, project management or public funding
- Experience in the preparation and administration of funding applications at state or federal level, preferably also at EU level and institutional processes
- Confident handling of MS Office, especially Excel and Word
- Structured, analytical and detail-oriented way of working
- Ability to communicate complex requirements in an understandable way
- Independence, reliability and diplomatic skills in dealing with authorities
- Analytical strength for the evaluation of eligibility criteria and the development of customized application strategies
- Ability to communicate with partners and internal teams to create networks
- Organizational skills and the ability to convey complex information in an understandable way
- Experience in project management
